Liquidambars House is a two-family house defined by a slender prismatic volume with a pitched roof, symmetrical along both orthogonal axes, and marked by large full-height covered loggias.
Large terraces define the main façades, characterized by sliding shutters made of Okoumé plywood used to close the window openings.
The east and west façades, clad in mass-coloured concrete blocks, feature regular, deeply recessed openings that give the elevations a dynamic quality through the play of light and shadow between solid and void.
The interior spaces reflect the exterior's simplicity, characterized by a restrained use of materials such as wood, plaster, and painted steel.
