The Granmercato retail store, with a compact floor plan measuring 62.00 × 46.50 m, is organized over two levels.
Built entirely with off-site prefabricated elements, the building features a large exposed coffered timber roof and six triangular shed skylights that provide zenithal lighting to the retail areas.
The predominantly blind perimeter façades contrast with the main west-facing elevation, which is transparent and oriented towards the provincial road.
The large-span structural grid allows maximum flexibility in the interior spaces, enabling the retail layout to be modified over time.
